Founder: John Leach
John Leach founded Incite Retail in June 2008, bringing twelve years of software experience to lead the company’s strategy and development. Prior to Incite Retail, he was Manager of Business Intelligence at Blue Martini Software, where he ran the company’s business intelligence practice and built strategic partnerships with integration partners. John functioned as a key subject matter expert for Blue Martini Software in numerous sales cycles and implementations across the world. His focus at Blue Martini was helping clients incorporate decision support knowledge into their current business processes utilizing advanced algorithms and machine learning. Leach received dual bachelor’s degrees in biomedical and mechanical engineering from Washington University in Saint Louis. Leach currently is the organizer for the Saint Louis Hadoop Users Group and is active in the Washington University Elliot Society.
Hadoop Software Engineer: Guangle Fan
Guangle Fan studied applied physics and computer science at Tongji University in Shanghai. He brings a wealth of experience in pattern-oriented software architecture, transaction management, advanced algorithms, and data structures to Incite Retail. Guangle currently focuses on class inheritance serialization mechanisms into HBase and Hive.
